The Detroit Lions are making moves to improve their receiving corps, as the team has traded two 2022 draft picks to the Denver Broncos to score a new wide receiver.
The Lions are reportedly bringing on wide receiver Trinity Benson in exchange for their fifth- and seventh-round draft picks in 2022. They’ve also acquired a sixth-round pick in 2023.
Benson had an impressive preseason showing with the Broncos, catching four passes for 36 yards and scoring two touchdowns in the first game. He caught four passes for 44 yards in the last two preseason games.
Benson played football at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, from 2015 to 2018.
