Michigan State toppled over Youngstown Saturday (Sept. 11) in what marked the Spartans’ first home game of the 2021 season.
Payton Thorne was a star, throwing four touchdowns, including two long strikes to Jayden Reed. The final tally was Michigan State 42, Youngstown State 14.
Next up on the Spartans’ roster is a non-conference game Saturday (Sept. 18) at Miami, Florida. The Spartans haven’t taken on the Hurricanes since 1989. Go green!
