Matthew Stafford Named NFC Offensive Player of the Week in Week 1

The praise has already started rolling in for Matthew Stafford.
The former Detroit Lions and current L.A. Rams quarterback has been named NFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 1, the NFL Network’s Good Morning Football announced Wednesday (Sept. 15).
Stafford nailed 20 of 26 pass attempts during the Rams’ Sunday (Sept. 12) win against the Bears. He also assisted in three touchdowns and posted a career-high passer rating of 156.1.
The Rams won 34-14 over the Bears.
