Michigan State football pulled off an upset Saturday (Sept. 18), and it wasn't just a small upset- it was a big one.

The Spartans defeated Miami, Florida, with a 38-17 win at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.

Coming off the season's first big games, Kenneth Walker III and Payton Thorne continued to show their stuff off, with Walker running for 172 yards on 27 carries and Thorne throwing four touchdowns.

MSU is 3-0 for the first time since 2015. They're turning heads nationally, too, with college football analysts saying this team is one to watch for 2021.

The Spartans head home to host Nebraska at 7 p.m. next Saturday (Sept. 25).
