Michigan State Enters Top 25 of AP and Coaches Polls, Joining the Wolverines
Michigan has some company at the top.
Following the first three weeks of college football, Michigan State football has shown their stuff on the field enough to enter the AP and USA Today Sports AFCA Coaches Poll’s Top 25, joining rivals Michigan.
Michigan State is currently 3-0, holding down two big road wins, including a conference win at Northwestern at the start of the season. The Spartans enter the USA Today poll at No. 21 following a win against formerly ranked Miami on the road, 38-17. They’re No. 20 in the AP Poll.
The Spartans’ next game is against Nebraska this Saturday night at 7 p.m. (Sept. 25).
Michigan went from No. 25 last week to No. 19 in this week’s poll following a big win against Northern Illinois, 63-10. They’re No. 19 in the AP poll, just one spot head of the Spartans.
Michigan will play Rutgers at home this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. (Sept. 25).
