Curb Your Enthusiasm kicks off its new season soon, and in honor, Larry David appeared on The Rich Eisen Show and had some choice comments about NFL kickers.

David has a hard time wrapping his head around the idea that someone who simply kicks a ball through a goal post can determine the fate of a game.

“They’re not football players. I’m sure they’re wonderful people, but they’re not football players!” David said, via Mediaite.

He added, "There’s no need for goal posts! Wouldn’t the game be better without them?” the comedian continued on The Rich Eisen Show. “Why not just have leaping frogs to decide games! See if a frog can leap through a little goal post…why kick it through a goal post?!”

The new season of Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 11 premieres Sunday (Oct. 24) on HBO.
