Michigan linebacker David Ojabo has announced he's leaving school and will head to the NFL Draft.

The junior linebacker announced the news via a tweet. In it, he expressed gratitude to his family, the University of Michigan and Blair Academy.

"Coach Harbaugh took a chance on a kid who had only played the sport for a year. I am eternally grateful for that opportunity," Ojabo said. "I am eternally grateful for that opportunity. That you to the Michigan coaches and staff for accepting me with open arms."

Ojabo was honored as a second-team All-American by the Associated Press.

He'll join defensive end Aidan Hutchinson, who is also leaving for the NFL draft.
