The NFL is changing its overtime rules. The owners on Tuesday (March 29) voted to approve a proposal presented by the Colts and Eagles.
Starting this season, if the team possessing the ball first in overtime gets a touchdown on that series, the opponent still gets a possession. Then, if both teams are still tied after their first possession, the game would go into sudden death.
