Meltdown knows pretty much everything there is to know about the Red Wings, and he gave me a heads up today about this new trailer that was just released. ESPN has released its trailer for an upcoming E:60 special surrounding the famed rivalry between the Detroit Red Wings and Colorado Avalanche.

The Red Wings and Avalanche had a fierce rivalry back in the 1990s and early 2000s. This new documentary, titled "Unrivaled: Red Wings v. Avalanche," promises to give insight into the fight between the two teams. If you're a longtime Red Wings fan, this looks like a must-see.

The trailer features highlights and interviews with players from both teams. All the expected players make an appearance, including the Red Wings' Darren McCarty and the Avs' Claude Lemieux. The end of the trailer features the names of a collection of famed NHL players and managers, including current Red Wings general manager Steve Yzerman, as well as the Wings' Brendan Shanahan and Vladimir Konstantinov.

ESPN hasn't announced an official premiere date for the documentary, but they have detailed that the documentary will be a roughly two-hour special, expected to air in June, probably during the Stanley Cup Finals. Watch the full trailer below.
