Here’s the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame’s 2022 Class

The Michigan Sports Hall of Fame has announced its class of 2022. The tally includes Basketball Hall of Famer Chris Webber; Olympic gold medalists Meryl Davis and Charlie White; and 2005 NCAA National Champion Jennie Ritter, the latter for the amateur category.
In other categories, former Michigan head coach John Beilein will be inducted in in the coaching category, as well as Detroit Red Wings television analyst Mickey Redmond in the media category and former Western Michigan athletic director Kathy Beauregard in the contributor category.
Shane Battier and Chauncey Billups, who were both inducted in 2020, will also be recognized at the 2022 ceremony.
The 2022 induction ceremony will take place Saturday, Sept. 10, in Detroit at Motor City Casino’s Sound Board Theater.
