Cleveland Browns Trade Baker Mayfield to Carolina Panthers

The Cleveland Browns have traded quarterback Baker Mayfield to the Carolina Panthers, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport (via Sports Illustrated).
Mayfield will join the Panthers, and they’ll give up a 2024 conditional fifth-round pick. Carolina and Cleveland will divide Mayfield’s salary this season, and he’ll cut out $3.5 million from his season total, the NFL Network reports.
