The Detroit Lions lost in a heartbreaker of a game on Sunday (Sept. 25) to the Minnesota Vikings, 28-24. Even with that loss, the Lions are favorites going into this weekend's home game against the Seattle Seahawks.

I remember when the Seahawks went to the Super Bowl in the mid-2000s. At the time, I was rooting for the Steelers to pull off a victory, which they did. I'm no longer a Steelers fan, but that's another story!

Today's Seahawks have major struggles. They have a great recruit in Kenneth Walker III from Michigan State University, but this year's team is struggling. That said, it's not a big surprise that most oddsmakers have the Lions pulling off a win.

Tipico Sportsbook says the Lions are a 6.5-point favorite. Detroit is -260 on the moneyline in the game. The Seahawks are +210. The over/under for the game is set at 50.5 points.
