Being a Detroit Lions fan has taught me not to take life too seriously. I mean, a game is just a game, right? It's not like I'm the one playing. I shouldn't get so worked up about losing that is seems like I'm actually on the field, trying to block a play or something.

That said, the nation is having a little fun with the Detroit Lions. It's deserved, since the Lions recently scored a crazy NFL record by leading the league in points scored at 35.0 per game and also leading the league in points allowed at 35.3. Geez.

Reags at Barstool Sports is praising the Detroit Lions for, well, getting people interested in them and talking about them without winning a lot of games. It's an art, I have to say. "I'm somewhat obsessed with the Detroit Lions," Reags says. "Sure, they are a content machine and easy to cheer for, because, Lions. But they have cracked the code on how to be an entertaining bad football team. That should be rewarded." Reags adds that, "The Lions had one of my TVs yesterday. I had no rooting interest. I'm not even a Lions fan. I just was entertained. That's more I can say for roughly half the league. So congrats to the Lions. It's moral victories and they got one here. Record setting Detroit Lions has a nice ring to it." Read his full take here.
