Justin Verlander has officially notched a World Series win with the Houston Astros. The team towered over the Philadelphia Phillies on Saturday (Nov. 5) and took home the big honor.

Verlander returned to the Astros this season at age 39 after missing the 2021 season because of surgery. He had an incredible season, going 18–4 with a 1.75 ERA and 185 strikeouts.

Of course, fans were excited for the win, but Verlander's wife, Kate Upton, was really excited. Check out photos of the two celebrating below, plus highlights from the game below.

Fox MLB television asked Upton if she wants to see Verlander retire, now that he is at the top of his game and accomplished so much. So, what did she say? "I love watching my husband do what he loves…to see him do his craft. He's such an artist out there when he's pitching," Upton said (via Sports Illustrated). That sounds like a "no."
