Will the Detroit Lions ever get respect?
I truly feel like we're getting it, but it wasn't enough to land a key nominee in the NFL finalists list.
On Wednesday, finalists for eight of the Associated Press' top NFL awards, were announced.
Dan Campbell was not nominated for Coach of the Year, which was a shocker. In the running are Bills' Sean McDermott, Eagles' Nick Sirianni, 49ers' Kyle Shanahan, Giants' Brian Daboll and Jaguars' Doug Pederson. The Lions also didn't get any MVP picks. What's wrong with these people?
From the AP, the Lions did get nominations for Assistant Coach of the Year with OC Ben Johnson and Defensive Rookie of the Year with DE Aidan Hutchinson. Find the full list here
