Red Wings Draft:
Detroit drafted center Nate Danielson ninth overall and defenseman Axel Sandin Pelikka 17th overall in the 2023 NHL Draft last night (June 28). Moreover, today (June 29), the Detroit Red Wings picked up forwards Kailer Yamamoto and Klim Kostin in a trade with Edmonton for future considerations. That event clears salary cap space for the Oilers.
What a feeling.
