The 2023 NFL Draft is here, and there are already surprises. Everyone is looking at the Detroit Lions this year, as the team is on target be one of the teams to beat going into the next season.

Detroit Lions were supposed to have two first-round picks: No. 6 from the Rams in the Matthew Stafford trade and also No. 18. But, on night one, the Cardinals traded up to No. 6 with the Lions.

Now, the Lions receive picks 12 and 34 from the Cardinals. They also have picks 48, 55, 81, 152, 159, 183 and 194.

For pick No. 12, the Lions went with Alabama RB Jahmry Gibbs. For pick No. 18, they went with University of Iowa Football LB Jack Campbell. Here's twitter reaction to those picks!
