The NFL season isn't over, but rumors are already swirling about next year.

Some big-named quarterbacks could retire, such as Aaron Rodger and Tom Brady. But now, there's a huge rumor about a possible NFL reunion in 2023.

Could a Tom Brady and Bill Belichick reunion actually happen? Brady will be a free agent in 2023, so he'll have the optoin to come back for a 24th season or retire for real. Also, if Brady were to stay in the league, would he keep laying with Tampa Bay or join another team?

One NFL writer is speculating about Brady joining back up with Belichick and the Patriots. "Don’t ever write off the Patriots," The Athletic’s Jeff Howe, who covered the team from 2009-21, wrote in a story this week, stating the former quarterback-coach tam “still have an abundance of respect for one another.” Hey, Brady, come to the Detroit Lions. You can really prove your worth here! Seriously, though, it's interesting to think about a Brady-Belichick reunion. The Patriots look strong this year, and that would, in theory, entice Brady even more to rejoin the team. I would love to see him give it a try with the Lions, but let's face it, that's incredibly unlikely.

Former Patriots offensive lineman Matt Light also acknowledged the idea of Brady returning to the team when asked about Howe's article during an appearance on WEEI’s “The Greg Hill Show” this week. “Listen, I wouldn’t put anything past him. Look, the guy wants to win, and he knows how to do it with a guy like Belichick,” Light said. “I think he’s seen the differences now. He’d only played for Bill, then he goes down to Tampa. He’s had a couple head coaches down there now. He could conceivably come back and want to be with a proven winner. That would not shock me at all.”
