Guns N' Roses are sponsoring the vehicle of Michigan's Erik Jones, the driver of the #43 car, in the Daytona 500.
Jones is a Michigan native and was born in Byron, Michigan. He graduated from Swartz Creek High School.
The preliminary race will begin Thursday (Feb. 16) at 2:30 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on FOX. Initial qualifying for the race will happen Thursday night at 8:15 PM on FS1. The twin 150-mile duel races will take place Friday (Feb. 17) at 7:00 p.m. on FS1.
As for Jones' resumé, it's impressive. He's a three-time cup series winner. he's gunning for another win, and we would love to see it happen in the GN'R vehicle. For more on Erik Jones and the Guns N' Roses car, go here.
