The Los Angeles Rams catches a pass for a touchdown against the Houston Texans

  • New England Patriots at Los Angeles Chargers

This is nothing but a bad spot for the Patriots, with a favorable line. The Patriots are coming off an offensive display against the struggling Jets last week, but they have to travel all across the country to face the well-rested Justin Herbert, and the Los Angeles Chargers.

Yes, we all know the Chargers struggle at defending the run, but the Chargers offense will be way too much to handle for the Patriots in this one.

The Chargers will roll… and cover the spread.

PICK: CHARGERS TO COVER THE SPREAD (-4.5)

PLAYER PROP: Mac Jones Under 254.4 Passing Yards

The Chargers run defense might be struggling early in the season, but their pass defense ranks top 5 in the league.

They allow 201.8 passing yards to opposing offenses, and even though they should be playing from a negative game script and be passing a lot, I still believe he stays under the total.

The Chargers secondary will be clamped down, and Mac Jones will struggle to eclipse 254.5 yards.

  • Los Angeles Rams at Houston Texans

This line is a bit high for my liking, but the Rams matchup great against the one-win Texans.

Led by Matthew Stafford and Co., the Rams should put on an offensive display behind his plethora of offensive fire power. I fully expect the Rams to surpass 400 yards of total offense, with the defense coming up big and forcing some crucial turnovers.

Along with the wide outs Stafford loves, Darrell Henderson Jr. is also molding into a high caliber guy coming out of the backfield.

Aaron Donald, Darrell Henderson Jr, Cooper Kupp, etc, will be too much for Davis Mills and the Houston Texans.

The Rams will improve to 7-1 and cover the spread.
