We’re down to just eight teams. Who will win the Super Bowl this season? We’ll know a lot more after this weekend. But, I have to say that these matchups this weekend all look really good. I can’t wait to get comfy and watch all of the football action. So, let’s get into some NFL playoff power rankings and the teams left with the best Super Bowl chances.

As for the games, when it comes to the AFC, the Houston Texans will head to Baltimore to play the Ravens. That’s going to make for an exciting game. I totally think the Ravens will have it, but CJ Stroud is a fantastic quarterback, so he’s going to give Lamar Jackson a run for his money. Later in the day, the Kansas City Chiefs will go to Buffalo to take on the Buffalo Bills. Expect another cold game, but hopefully not as cold as the outdoor games last weekend. Why don’t these teams just accept the fact that they need domes?

As for the NFC, the Green Bay Packers go up against the San Francisco 49ers in San Francisco. Man. As a Detroit Lions fan, it’s hard to root for Green Bay. But, a Green Bay win would be beneficial to the Lions, so heck, go Packers. Of course, the Detroit Lions will also host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. While the Lions beat the Bucs earlier in the season, the Bucs are on an incredible winning stream. I’m worried the Detroit fanbase is a bit too confident about a win, but I’m not worried that the team feeling that way. Dan Campbell and company always talk about how they’re “not finished,” and I think they see this as a winnable game, but not an easy one.

So, that completes the schedule of NFL games this weekend. Now, let’s get into the NFL playoff power rankings and four teams with the best Super Bowl chances.

  • 4. Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions earned their first playoff win since 1992 last weekend. Now, since the Packers won their game against the Cowboys (what a blowout, right?), the Lions will host another playoff game in the divisional round. That helps their odds of making it to the Super Bowl. If they beat the Bucs, then they just need to get past either the 49ers or Packers to get to Vegas.

  • 3. Buffalo Bills

For a while, the Buffalo Bills looked like toast. But, they’re peaking the right time in the season. They won the AFC East and beat the Steelers in their wild-card game in Buffalo. Now, they have another home game, this time against the Kansas City Chiefs. It’s Patrick Mahomes’ first road playoff game. Having this game in Buffalo gives the Bills the edge, and they could make it to the Big Game.

  • 2. San Francisco 49ers

While many analysts have the 49ers winning the whole thing, I have them just one step shy. They’re the top seed in the NFC, but if they go up against the Ravens in the Super Bowl, I think it’s going to be tough for them to win. That said, they’re No. 2 on this list, meaning they have great odds of making it to the Super Bowl.

  • 1. Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens took the No. 1 seed in the AFC and really seem like the team to beat. Quarterback Lamar Jackson is unbelievable on the field and the likely MVP winner. If they get past Green Bay, which they should, I think they’re strong enough to win the whole thing.
