A Movie About Shaquem Griffin Is Reportedly In The Works!
http://gty.im/1335957533 The story of one-handed, retired NFL linebacker Shaquem Griffin is truly an inspiring one and may soon be headed to the big screen! TMZ Sports spoke with Shaquem's twin brother, Shaquill Griffin at LAX Airport while he was in town for a checkup on his recent back injury that placed him on the injured reserve list. Shaquill is a cornerback for the Jacksonville Jaguars. http://gty.im/1293392830 Shaquill didn't share any details on the film, outside of the fact that it is in the works. He did share that he would be more than willing to play himself in the film. The brothers' story is so unique and seems tailor-made for a film. At the age of four, Shaquem had his left hand amputated. Even so, he became a Division 1 football player at the University of Central Florida, where both Griffins played. Shaquill was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in 2017, but Shaquem remained at UCF for one more year. Having him as a member of the 2017 Knights was a smart call because he was an integral part of the undefeated squad that defeated Auburn in the Peach Bowl and became National Champions! http://gty.im/1394513186 Shaquem later joined his brother with the Seahawks and played several seasons with them. In 2021, he was signed to the Miami Dolphins practice squad and eventually released. Over the summer, he announced he was retiring. Since retirement, not only has Griffin become a motivational speaker, but is also a member of the NFL's Legends Program. Brother, Shaquill also shared that his twin's new career is thriving. “He actually just did his first couple of Fortune 500s and he’s supposed to be going international soon. It’s exciting news, for sure,” Shaquill told TMZ Sports.
