This past weekend, AT&T Stadium played host to the WWE’s biggest spectacle of the year – WrestleMania 38.

The two night event brought over 150,000 fans from around the globe to Jerry’s World over and featured many moments that fans in attendance and those watching at home will remember for years to come.

Here’s the Roar’s rundown of some of the biggest moments from WrestleMania 38!

  • The Prodigal Son Has Come Home

    After six years away, Cody Rhodes made his return to the WWE at WrestleMania 38, revealed as the mystery opponent of Seth Rollins.

    In a victorious effort, ‘The American Nightmare’ hit the ground running with an impactful return that left the WWE Universe excited for the what the future holds for ‘the son of The Dream’!

  • The Deadman Gets Honored

    The ‘Deadman’, the ‘Phenom’, the legendary Undertaker was the headline inductee to the 2022 WWE Hall of Fame.

    ‘Taker made his way to the stage to celebrate with the Dallas, TX crowd both nights of WrestleMania and the fans were all too happy to show their love to the most respected and longest tenured Superstar in WWE history.

    Undertaker headlined the list of inductees that included the Steiner Brothers, Queen Sharmell, Shad Gaspard (Warrior Award) and Vader.

  • 'Stone Cold' Stuns!

    WWE Superstar Kevin Owens looked to secure his spot in the main event of WrestleMania and he accomplished that goal by calling out arguably the most popular WWE Superstar in history – Stone Cold Steve Austin.

    In a classic case of “be careful what you wish for”, Stone Cold showed up, kicked butt and drank beer – much to the dismay of Owens.

    Austin went back to back, showing up on Sunday night to hand out a few more ‘Stone Cold Stunners’ to Austin Theory, Pat McAfee and longtime rival, Mr. McMahon.

  • Bianca Beats The Big Time

    After working her way back to the top of the card since her loss to Becky Lynch at Summer Slam 2021, Bianca Belair got retribution Saturday night at WrestleMania defeating the very woman who took her title, ‘Big Time’ Becky Lynch.

    With the crowd on her side, Belair stood victorious holding up the championship in an emotional and memorable WrestleMania moment!

  • The Boyhood Dream Comes True For Pat McAfee

    Fomer Colts kicker and current WWE Smackdown announcer Pat McAfee has made no secret about his lifelong desire to be a WWE Superstar, and he got that moment on WrestleMania Sunday, taking on WWE Superstar Austin Theory as well as an impromptu singles match against Theory’s mentor – WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.

    McAfee realized his dream in front of over 74,000 fans and even had the dubious honor of sharing a beer and suffering a ‘Stunner’ from the legendary Stone Cold Steve Austin.

  • Triple H Leaves It All In the Ring

    With the recent announcement of his official retirement from in ring action, Triple H opened up night two of WrestleMania and took one last moment to celebrate with the WWE Universe.

    After thanking the crowd and fans all over the world for their support over the years, Triple H left his wrestling boots in the ring, hugged his family at ringside and left to the back.

    The Dallas crowd in AT&T Stadium showed their love and appreciation to ‘The Game’, providing for a lasting and emotional WrestleMania moment.

  • The Boss Delivers A Beatdown

    With his protege Austin Theory in trouble, Mr. McMahon decided to take matters into his own hands and show Pat McAfee who’s the boss.

    At 76 years old, the WWE Chairman had no problem taking part in some in ring physicality.

    Once Vince’s old rival Steve Austin got involved, things took a turn for the chairman.

    We also learned that after 19 years, Vince McMahon is still pretty horrible at taking a ‘Stunner’.

  • New RAW Women's Tag Team Champions!

    A fatal four way match saw the RAW Women’s Tag Team Championships on the line with the champions, Queen Zelina and Carmella defending against Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley, Natlaya and Shayna Baszler, and the team of Sasha Banks and Naomi.

    In the end, Banks and Naomi were victorious, winning the championships from ‘the Queen’ and the self proclaimed ‘Most beautiful woman in all of WWE’.

  • Winning With Flair

    Standing toe to toe with the baddest woman on the planet didn’t seem to intimidate the daughter of the ‘dirtiest player in the game’ as Charlotte Flair dug deep into her bag of tricks to secure a victory – in typical heel fashion – over Ronda Rousey.

    ‘The Opportunity’ left the ring the same way she entered – world champion.

  • Sami Surrounded By Jack*sses!

    The long brewing rivalry between WWE Superstar Sami Zayn and stuntman / comedian Johnny Knoxville came to a boil in a match that featured virtually everything from chairs, tables, a ridiculously cartoon-ish giant mousetrap – and a  ‘Wee-Man’.

    The Dallas, TX crowd was treated a brutal and comical showcase as Sami Zayn fell victim to the combined effort of the Jackass crew.

     

  • Championships Unified, A Champion Acknowledged

    WrestleMania Sunday’s main event saw ‘The Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar put up his WWE Championship against ‘The Tribal Chief’ Roman Reign’s Universal Championship in a ‘Winner Takes All’ contest.

    The match didn’t cut short on brutality as the hard hitting contest saw both men battered and bruised – Roman suffering what appeared to be a separated shoulder.

    In the end, Reigns proved victorious, unifying the championships and being acknowledged as the man at top of the mountain in the WWE.
