One of U-M’s favorite sons is making his way back to the Big House.

Denard Robinson, the former star Michigan QB will be hired on as Assistant Director of Player Personnel.

Here’s a look back at some of ‘Shoelace’s’ biggest moments with the Wolverines.

  • Five Touchdowns To Put Away 'The Fighting Irish' (9/10/11)

    The Wolverines struggled early, but turned it up in the fourth quarter.

    Five touchdown passes and 446 yards of offense made it all worthwhile as Robinson led the Wolverines over Notre Dame.

  • Rushing To Victory Over Ohio State (11/26/11)

    Robinson completed 14 of 17 passes, completing three touchdowns and rushed for 170 yards completing two touchdowns in a victory of the Buckeyes.

  • Going Superhuman Against the Air Force Falcons

    The Air Force Falcons had no answer for ‘Shoelace’ who racked up 200 combined passing and rushing yards in a single game for the second time in his career.

    He also scored all four of Michigan’s touchdowns in the 31-25 victory.

  • Protecting The Big House vs. Nebraska Cornhuskers

    Robinson rushed for 83 yards on 23 carries and completed 11 of 18 passes for 180 yards and four touchdowns in Michigan’s 45-17 blowout win over Nebraska on the Wolverine’s home turf.

  • Triple Overtime Victory vs Illinois

    Robinson recorded 350 yards and three touchdowns in the highest scoring game in the history of the Big House.

    Robinson had to leave the game in the third quarter with injury, but he left with a solid stat-line.
