Wide receiver DeVonta Smith #6 of the Alabama Crimson Tide celebrates his touchdown with teammate wide receiver John Metchie III #8.

It’s that time of the week again! The work week is just about over and we have now got to the point where we have serious actions going across all sports. So, what’s better than diving in and creating a parlay for the weekend to grow that bankroll of yours! With that being said, let’s start firing out the plays thanks to Dimers.com.

  • Illinois Fighting Illini at Penn State Nittany Lions, Saturday October 23rd

The Illinois Fighting Illini travel to Beaver Stadium to take on the Nittany Lions, where Penn State tries to avenge their recent defeat to the Iowa Hawkeyes.

One thing that stands out here is the Nittany Lion defense. They rank second in total points allowed per game in all of college football at 13.2 PPG, while Illinois isn’t too far behind with 24.6.

I fully expect the Nittany Lions to come out firing on the defensive side of the ball. Along with their defensive play, and the questionable status of quarterback Sean Clifford, this has me pondering the number of points being scored in this one.

Each of the offenses aren’t a huge concern here to the point total, as PSU averages 26.4 PPG, while Illinois averages 17.7 PPG.

    PICK: TOTAL POINTS UNDER 46.5

  • Tennessee Volunteers at Alabama Crimson Tide, Saturday October 23rd

The Volunteers travel to Tuscaloosa to take on the Crimson Tide, where the Tide looks to continue their dominance after beating Mississippi State 49-9.

This clash looks to be the opposite of our first game, where both offenses have serious fire power and can pretty much score points at will. Alabama averages 44.5 PPG, and Tennessee 36.5.

I predict this one to back and forth early before Alabama takes charges behind Bryce Young and dominates late, trying to stay on Georgia’s tail for the #1 seed in the college playoff standings.

    PICK: TOTAL POINTS OVER 66.5

  • Kansas City Chiefs at Tennessee Titans, Sunday October 24th

Moving on to the professional realm of football, The Chiefs travel to Nashville to take on Derrick Henry and the Tennessee Titans.

The Titans are coming off a short week after stuffing Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills inside their own five-yard line to complete the upset Monday night.

Let’s face it. The Chiefs have not played their best football by no means, but this is a good spot for them to get going. Mahomes is still Mahomes and there’s a reason why he is a Super Bowl champion. Look for a huge game out of Travis Kielce, as the Titans secondary is sub-par at best, allowing 26.8 points per game, and 384.0 yards per game.

PICK: KANSAS CITY CHIEFS TO COVER THE SPREAD (-4.5)
