Super Bowl LVII: Players Complain About Painted Turf, “Like Playing In A Water Park”
Amidst the celebration of the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl win over the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday night, many fans and players complained about the slippery turf in State Farm Stadium.
Philadelphia’s offensive tackle Jordan Mailata called the field “terrible”, and said it was “like playing in a water park”.
Fans and commentators took to Twitter to call out the league and State Farm Stadium.
This field is absolute trash. The NFL should be absolutely embarrassed
