The Lions haven’t won a game yet this season, but they have a great player and promise in running back D’Andre Swift.

Swift is ahead of all running backs in receiving yardage, at 166, through the first three weeks of the 2021 season.

Not surprisingly, Swift also leads the Lions in rushing yards (123) and receptions (19 for 166 yards) for the start of the season. He’s tied for the most touchdowns, too, at two.

What’s ironic is that Swift hasn’t even started a game with the Lions yet this season. Jamaal Williams is the team’s starting running back. Coach Dan Campbell, in press conferences, has stated that since Swift is still coming off injuries, they have to be careful.

Next up, the Detroit Lions take on the Chicago Bears in Chicago at 1 p.m. Sunday (Oct. 3).
