Lions Pull Off Crazy Win Against Packers, 37-30, and Break a Record
What the heck? The Detroit Lions just pulled off a crazy win against the Green Bay packers on Sunday (Jan. 9). Going into this game, Green Bay was the No. 1 seed for the NFC playoffs, so this is obviously a huge win. It’s times like these that it feels good to be a lifelong Lions fan, through thick and thin!
With less than two minutes on the clock, the Lions pulled ahead, and then brought the score up to 37-30. While it appeared Green Bay could fight back, in the end, they didn’t.
History was made during this game, too, as Amon-Ra St. Brown passed Calvin Johnson for the most consecutive games in a row with eight or more catches. That makes this a record-breaking game. Wow!
Check out photos from the game below! Aaron Rodgers’ look says it all!
