Pistons Spoil LaMelo Ball’s Return In OT Win
The Pistons rained on the celebrated return to the court of LaMelo Ball in a 141-134 OT victory.
Ball, who had been out of action since November 16th with a sprained left ankle, had a solid 23 points on 9-of-18 shooting to go along with 11 assists.
Ball fouled out in with 29.6 left in regulation and his absence in OT was glaring for Charlotte.
On Detroit’s end, Alec Burks scored a career high 27 points off the bench, Killian Hayes added 25pts, Bojan Bogdanovic chipped in 24pts, Isiah Stewart had 19pts and 11 rebounds, and Jalen Duren put up 18pts in a hard fought effort to help the Pistons break a three game losing streak.
