The world is waiting and praying for Damar Hamlin and his family. We’re hoping for a full recovery for the Buffalo Bills safety. Hamlin remains in ICU as of Wednesday (Jan. 4) with a ventilator assisting his breathing.
Now, NFL fans and players are stepping up to donate to Hamlin’s beloved charity. Hamlin headed up The Chasing M’s Foundation Community Toy Drive with a goal of raising $2,500. If you can believe it, as of Wednesday morning, more than $6 million has been donated.
Former Detroit Lions and current LA Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is among those who have donated. He reportedly gave $12,000 to support Hamlin’s cause. Other big names who have donated include Tom Brady, Russell Wilson, Davante Adams and Andy Dalton. It’s fantastic to see these big NFL names giving back and supporting Hamlin in any way that they can. Check out the full donation list here.
