Michigan Olive Burger Festival Debuts This Weekend
Of all the different kinds of burgers, the olive burger is just special. Some might say it’s the most popular form of burger. Well, I personally think cheeseburgers are more popular, but they are both big. So, what about a Michigan Olive Burger Festival?
Well, Michigan is hosting a new Olive Burger Festival that is truly the first of its kind.
Michigan Olive Burger Festival:
The city of Lansing will honor the olive burger with a special festival on Saturday (June 24). The Olive Burger Festival is scheduled for Jackson Field, which is where the Lansing Lugnuts play, from noon to 7 p.m. Some of the events planned include a Paint Your Poison painting station, drag performers, two stages of live music, Motley Misfits, Metro Melik MCing, a kids’ playground and inflatables and more. Tickets for the festival are $20. Children five and younger get in for free. Lansing Foodies is presenting the event.
If you’re heading to the festival, here’s the scoop on parking. According to organizers, “Public parking is available on streets, parking lots, and parking ramps in a four-to-five-block area around Jackson Field. Lansing Foodies is not responsible for any acquired parking tickets given out by the City of Lansing, so read and obey any parking signs you see!” For more information, go here.
