The Los Angeles Rams were in a pinch going into the 2023 draft. They were the only team in the entire NFL that had just one quarterback on their roster. So, they had to act fast.
Of course, former Detroit Lion Matthew Stafford is still the main quarterback with the L.A. Rams. He’s under a mighty contract, following his 2022 Super Bowl win, even if there were rumors that the Rams were desperate to trade him this year.
Now, the Rams are filing those gaps, and they have brought on two new quarterbacks to get behind Stafford. Read on for the scoop.

1. L.A. Rams' first new quarterback
During the 2023 NFL Draft, they drafted Georgia’s Stetson Bennett in the fourth round. Bennett played college football at Jones College and Georgia. His nickname is “the Mailman,” which is cute. Okay, cute isn’t a good word for a NFL nickname. It’s unique.

2. L.A. Rams' second new quarterback
On Wednesday, L.A. saw their first major outside free agent signing. They signed former Denver Bronco Brett Rypien. Rypien is the nephew of Super Bowl-winning quarterback Mark Rypien. He played college football at Boise State and has been with the Broncos for the last four years.
